"Pink!" That's what Addison Mizner used, and that's what Royal Palm Plaza
was: "The Pink Plaza." Then someone had a vision. Update the look of the
plaza, while still keeping the old-world charm; build 185 luxury residences;
and 35,000 square feet of "Class A" office space; as well as 50,000 square
feet of prime retail. After the renovations and expansions were completed,
this fresh take on a classic landmark had earned a new name: Royal Palm
Place. Still keeping the familiar and traditional Royal Palm, but adding the
word "Place" to reflect its status as a destination, a lifestyle, where one
can live, work, play, and shop.
What makes Royal Palm Place a lifestyle destination? It is simply THE
place for fine dining, shopping, art, music and more; a place where one
can savor delectable gourmet foods and wines, indulge at fabulous
boutiques and jewelry stores, get pampered at wonderful salons and
spas, and even take dance lessons.
Along with welcoming new tenants, Royal Palm Place welcomed a new
landmark to the center. At the southwest corner of Royal Palm Place,
a 65 ft. high monument was constructed, and topped off with a statue
of famed architect Addison Mizner. This monument serves as a
cultural center, offering a venue for events as well as being the home
of the Boca Raton Historical Society’s “Walk of Recognition” honoring
local philanthropists. |

The excitement of Royal Palm Place continues to build, with the opening of Chops Lobster Bar. An Atlanta icon known for its
exceptional food and service, Chops Lobster Bar consistently ranks as
one of the Top 10 steakhouses in the country, and is a seafood lover’s
dream. Chops Lobster Bar ranks among Zagat’s Survey ‘s top choices
for food, décor, service, steaks, seafood and business dining every
year. Under the leadership and vision of legendary restaurateur Pano
Karatassos, Founder and CEO of Buckhead Life Restaurant Group, a
leading multi-concept restaurant company based in Atlanta, Georgia
(whose restaurant portfolio includes the famous Pano’s & Paul’s,
Atlanta Fish Market, Pricci, Bluepointe, Nava and Veni Vidi Vici to
name just a few), the expansion of Chops Lobster Bar to Boca Raton is
their first out-of-state venture. |
